After a successful career designing, developing, and testing software, I decided to pursue my passion of jewelry design. Having designed some fine jewelry pieces years ago, I began designing, handcrafting, and selling sterling silver jewelry. I gained a new appreciation for gemstones and their beauty which prompted me to study gemology.
I earned my Graduate Gemologist (GG) diploma from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). I pursued formal appraisal studies with the California Institute of Jewelry Training (CIJT) where I received my Registered MasterValuer™ certification. I earned my Certified Insurance Appraiser™ designation from the Jewelry Insurance Appraisal Institute (JIAI).
I worked for different jewelers in the San Francisco bay area doing gemology and appraisal work. In 2015 I opened my independent jewelry appraising business in Scotts Valley, California. I moved to Florida in 2017, closed my business in California, and initially re-opened my business in Titusville.
I now live in Daytona Beach and my office is located in the historic Kress building in downtown Daytona Beach, with satellite office services in Titusville. The service area includes clients from Beverly Beach, Cocoa, Cocoa Beach, Daytona Beach, Daytona Beach Shores, DeLand, Deltona, Edgewater, Flagler Beach, Holly Hill, Melbourne, Mims, New Smyrna Beach, Oak Hill, Orange City, Orlando, Ormond Beach, Ormond-By-The-Sea, Palm Bay, Palm Coast, Ponce Inlet, Port Orange, Port Saint John, Rockledge, Sanford, South Daytona, Titusville, and Viera.
